Stephanie Jackson

Stephanie has a well established civil practice specializing in personal injury, credit hire, property damage, construction disputes, professional negligence and insurance. She has a particular interest in cases relating to tree root damage.

Stephanie is instructed by leading firms for both Claimants and Defendants.  She is also instructed directly by insurers and will consider acting on a conditional fee arrangement basis.

In addition to drafting and advisory work she has considerable experience of appearing as an advocate in court. She also regularly attends mediations and round table meetings.

Personal Injury

Stephanie has experience of acting for both Claimants and Defendants at multi track level. She acts in road traffic cases and employers and occupiers’ liability matters. She has also acted in claims arising from defective premises.

Stephanie has represented both Claimants and Defendants in credit hire matters and has extensive experience of credit hire trials. She is fully familiar with the frequently argued issues of rate, impecuniosity, need and period. She has also argued enforceability issues.

Stephanie has experience of all types of property damage claims including damage caused by fire, flood and subsidence. She has a particular interest in tree root damage cases and has been instructed nationally in such matters relating to both domestic and commercial property.

Stephanie also acts in boundary dispute matters.

Advising a property owner in relation to damage caused by neighbouring trees.

Advising a property owner in relation to flooding damage caused by defective building works.

Advising a property owner in relation to fire caused by a defective boiler.

Advising a property owner in relation to a fire caused by a defective electrical installation.

Stephanie has experience of the major forms of JCT contracts and regularly advises in domestic construction disputes. She also acts in matters arising out of the Party Wall etc Act 1996.
