Mrs. Adedeji, represented by Carolyn D'Souza of 12KBW, has succeeded in her claim of indirect sex discrimination, automatic unfair dismissal and unfair dismissal against her former employer, the Barbican Centre.Mrs. Adedeji, a House Manager at the Barbican, had her request to work part-time refused by management, and following a lengthy ill-health absence, was dismissed in November 2007. London Central Employment Tribunal upheld her claims on 18th December 2007. The remedy hearing will take place in March 2008.
