New Recorder at 12KBW
Freya joins her Recorder colleagues at 12KBW and will sit as a judge for a minimum of four weeks over the course of a year.
Freya has an established civil practice in PI, Clinical Negligence and Professional Negligence. In 1995/6 she was a member of the Bar Committee responding to the Woolf Reforms. From 1997 until 2002 she was a member of the Professional Conduct and Complaints Committee of the General Council of the Bar. She is currently a Community Panel Member for Youth Offender Referral Orders in the London Borough of Lambeth. She also regularly teaches the Ethics course for New Practitioners at the Bar and is involved in the continuing professional education of solicitors and lectures in advocacy, evidence and civil procedure.
