New Head of Chambers
Andrew Hogarth QC, newly elected as Head of Chambers, takes over the reins at the AGM on 19 July from Richard Methuen QC on the completion of Richard’s highly successful term of office which has seen 12KBW go from strength to strength and consolidate its position as the premier set for Personal Injury.
On stepping down, Richard said, ‘It has been a privilege to serve as head of chambers for five years. I am now relishing the opportunity to devote more of my time to my core practice and my loyal and valued clients.’ Additionally, Richard, an experienced arbitrator and mediator, will play a leading role in the newly launched 12 Mediation service as well as developing his burgeoning practice in Sports Law.
Andrew, described in Chambers Guide as ‘one of the finest pure lawyers and bravest of advocates’ comments, ‘I am honoured to be given this opportunity to lead 12KBW at what is an exciting and challenging time for the Bar.’
