Long recognised as a Leading Junior in Personal Injury in both the ‘Legal 500’ and ‘Chambers Directory’. In Chambers & Partners 2012, Quintin is commended for his "gentle bedside manner." He is further praised for his expertise in traumatic brain injury and construction site accident cases and as a barrister who "turns in consistently faultless performances."
In previous editions, Quintin is described as "a very measured advocate who demonstrates a practical approach to problems."
Quintin acts for both Claimants and Insurers (by whom he is often instructed directly) including the NHSLA and specialises in complex, high value cases involving difficult engineering, scientific and medical issues. He has extensive experience of construction site accidents, Employers Liability cases, cases involving the duties of Highways Authorities and road accidents. Quintin has considerable knowledge of and interest in aircraft systems and Heavy Goods Vehicles-for which he holds an HGV 1 licence-as well as cases involving psychiatric injuries.
Quintin speaks conversational French and Spanish and is currently attempting to teach himself Arabic and Bambara.
Outside chambers, his interests include overland travel and West African music.
