Aliyah Akram, instructed by Shaun Livingston of Irwin Mitchell, London obtains a judgment of £90,000 for pain, suffering and loss of amenity in a mesothelioma claim. The deceased had died aged 88 years old having suffered symptoms of the disease for an unusually lengthy period of 3 ½ years.

The deceased had contracted mesothelioma as a result of working as a scaler engaged in ship repair at the Royal Docks in East London.
