Ted accepts instructions from claimants and defendants across all of 12KBW’s core areas. Ted has particular experience in personal injury, clinical negligence, sports injuries, inquests, employers’ liability and travel. Ted regularly appears in trials, CCMCs and applications and is happy to accept instructions on a CFA basis.
Away from Chambers, Ted has several articles published in national newspapers, presented his own radio shows and volunteered both abroad and in the UK with human rights and legal charities.
Ted’s main interests outside law are cooking (and eating), playing football, skiing, and travelling.
Ted accepts instructions in all areas of personal injury litigation for both Claimants and Defendants. Ted has particular experience of working on road traffic accident and employers’ liability claims.
Ted has a growing clinical negligence practice, and he accepts instructions from both Claimants and Defendants. Ted’s recent cases have included negligent hospital, ophthalmic and dental treatment. Ted has recently completed a secondment at the Association of Optometrists, working on high value multi track claims.
Ted accepts instructions to represent families and interested parties at inquests, and most recently appeared in a case arising out of a road traffic accident. In line with his clinical negligence practice, Ted accepts instructions arising out of alleged deficiencies in medical care.
Arising out of a keen personal passion for sport, Ted has a growing practice in sports injuries, and most recently successfully acted for a child in a ski accident claim. He is keen to develop this area further, and accepts instructions from both Claimants and Defendants. Ted is happy to accept instructions on a CFA basis.
Ted accepts instructions in international and travel cases, including those involving the Package Travel Regulations. He has particular experience of trials and case management hearings in this field.
Ted is an experienced advocate in health and safety disputes, and accepts instructions from both claimants and defendants.
Ted regularly acts in Fast and Multi Track credit hire cases, both for the Claimant and Defendant. He is an experienced advocate across the full range of credit hire issues.
Ted accepts instructions in employment and discrimination cases. Before joining Chambers, Ted worked as a paralegal in the Employment, Pensions and Incentives department at Herbert Smith Freehills. He is keen to use this experience to develop his employment practice further.
