Clerking Team
Oliver Parkhouse
Director of Clerking

Oliver is the Director of Clerking at 12KBW. He began his clerking career at Old Square Chambers in 1998, gaining further experience when moving to Crown Office Chambers. He joined 12KBW in December 2016 and leads our clerking and administrative teams, with responsibility for the strategic management and development of members’ practices and chambers as a whole.

In addition to the management of chambers, Oliver works closely with his clerking team in the day-to-day clerking of members’ practices. He is responsible for the business development of chambers and ensures a close working and open relationship with our clients.

Oliver is assisted by an experienced clerking team which includes Graham Johnson, Senior Clerk.

Graham Johnson
Senior Clerk

Before joining the 12KBW team, Graham was senior clerk at 199 Strand where he had worked since 1989.

His outside interests include cycling, reading and holidays.

Lexie Johnson
Practice Team Leader

Lexie began her clerking career at 12KBW in December 2004 and is a Practice Team Leader. Lexie is responsible for the day-to-day practice management and leadership of her delegated team of barristers which includes diary management, fee negotiation, case allocation and business and practice development.

Tristan Whigham
Practice Team Leader

Tristan joined 12KBW in 2009 as a graduate recruit and is now a Practice Team Leader. Tristan is responsible for the day-to-day practice management of his team of barristers. He also works closely with Director of Clerking, Oliver Parkhouse, in developing and maintaining client relationships throughout all of 12KBW’s practice areas.

Tristan sat as chairman of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks Career Development Committee between Jan 2016 – Nov 2018. He remains an active member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks and sits on its Management Committee, as well as the Education Committee.

Tristan was awarded Clerking/Practice Management Clerk of the Year 2019 by The Legal 500 (Legalease).

George Boggis
Practice Team Leader

George joined 12KBW in January 2019 as a Practice Team Leader. He began his clerking career at 1 Crown Office Row in 2007 where he spent seven years before joining Fountain Court Chambers in the summer of 2014. George is responsible for the day-to-day practice management of his team of barristers which includes developing their practice, diary management, allocation of new work and fee negotiation. George also focuses on developing and maintaining client relationships on behalf of Chambers.

George is a member of the Institute of Barristers Clerks and has completed the BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration.

Harry Gamble
Assistant Practice Manager

Harry joined chambers in August 2017 as Assistant Practice Manager, arriving from a common and commercial law set.

Harry’s main responsibilities include day to day diary management of members, developing members practice areas, fee negations and maintaining and developing client relationships. Harry also assists George Boggis in Clerking the International and Travel team.

Harry is a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks (IBC).

Daniella Evans
Assistant Practice Manager

Daniella joined 12KBW in January 2020 after gaining 3 years experience as a criminal clerk. Starting her career at 18 Red Lion Chambers and progressing onto the role of third junior clerk at Charter Chambers.

Daniella’s primary duties include: diary management, liaising with clients, negotiating fees, allocating cases and developing members’ practices.

Daniella is a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks (IBC) and London Young Lawyers Group (LYLG).

Robert Palumbo
Assistant Practice Manager

Rob joined 12KBW in January 2020 after gaining 2 years experience as a Civil clerk. Starting his career at 39 Essex Chambers and progressing to the role of Junior Assistant Manger. Before joining 12KBW Rob took a year out of work in 2019 to travel across America, Australia and Asia.

Rob’s primary duties include: diary management, liaising with clients, negotiating fees, allocating cases and developing members’ practices.

Junior Clerk

Ciara joined 12KBW in November 2019.

Lor'elle Mitchell
Marketing and Events Manager

Lor’elle joined 12KBW in February 2020.

Previously, Lor’elle worked as an Events Manager for a start-up company where she was responsible for establishing and developing their Events Programme. Lor’elle has produced several large scale public live events. She brings her diverse background in Events and in-depth knowledge of strategic marketing to the chambers Events Team.

Finance & Chambers Administration
Nimisha Patel
Head of HR, Administration and Compliance

Nimisha is the Head of HR, Administration and Compliance at 12KBW. She was a Solicitor for 17 years before working in chambers as Practice Director at 3 Paper Buildings. Prior to joining 12KBW, Nimisha returned back to private practice as the Practice Manager at a niche education law firm in the city. Nimisha is responsible for Business Administration, HR, Compliance, Risk Management and Facilities in chambers, working closely with the Director of Clerking. She is also chambers Data Protection Manager and Information Security Officer.

Gosia Cyc
Finance Manager

Gosia joined 12 King’s Bench Walk in October 2008. She is chambers’ Finance Manager, solely managing all finance matters and the administration of various operational responsibilities. Gosia is studying for her Professional Accounting Qualification, and currently holds a BSc in Management and Marketing from Szczecin University in Poland. She is fluent in Polish and English; and has a basic knowledge of Russian.

Edna Hackman
Senior Fees Clerk

Edna is the Senior Fees clerk at 12KBW, and has been with us since 2016.
She has been working in chambers for over 10 years and has been working in fees at leading family and planning sets.

She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of fees collection and management of barristers’ fees.

Nikole Leonidou
Fees Clerk

Nikole joined 12KBW in October 2017 bringing with her extensive experience in a variety of chambers and law firms.

Outside of work Nikole is a professional Mixed Martial Artist with her own academy. She has fought in Ultimate Fighting Championships across the country and is a member of the British and International Taekwondo federations. Aside from coaching, Nikole enjoys going to the gym and socialising with family and friends.

Adrian Morris
Facilities Officer

Adrian joined 12KBW in 2011 having previously worked in the mail room and admin department at a large firm of solicitors.

His outside interests include music and watching Arsenal FC.

Danny Buzzer
Facilities Assistant

Danny joined 12KBW in May 2019 and undertakes a wide range of general duties throughout our buildings to support the smooth running of Chambers.

Alongside Chambers’ Facilities Officer, Danny is responsible for delivering papers to barristers, liaising with contractors regarding faults and repairs and general facilities requirements.

Tracey Oliver
Front of House / Reception Manager

Tracey joined 12KBW in October 2017.

Prior to raising her family, Tracey enjoyed a career as a Personnel Assistant to the Chairman of a large Japanese trading house in the city. She brings her proficiency and excellent client care skills to chambers Front of House.

Jessica Roudette
Junior Receptionist

Jessica joined 12KBW in June 2019.

Previously, Jessica worked as a claims consultant where she developed her excellent telephone communication skills. Prior to this, she had a front of house role as an optical consultant where she presented herself professionally, attentively and provided a warm welcome to all patients.
