Chambers is pleased to announce that Daniel Sokol has been appointed Chair of the new Metropolitan Police Research Ethics Committee (MetREC) by the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service. MetREC is the first Police Research Ethics Committee in the UK. Its task is to ensure that research undertaken, funded or sponsored by the Metropolitan Police Service meets high ethical standards.
