An examination of recent case law in this swiftly developing area, where the battleground is whether a UK claimant can recover for a UK style (and UK sized) award.

Patrick Vincent

Patrick is a specialist in Insurance and Personal Injury law. He acts for Claimants and Defendant in complex and high value brain injury, spinal and amputation cases. He also undertakes disease and occupational exposure litigation, and is experienced in claims involving accidents abroad.

Patrick has a substantial practice in insurance policy and coverage disputes, particularly in relation to motor polices, MIB claims and international claims. Read more…

Max Archer

Max has extensive experience of cases with an international element and has a strong interest in this area. He is experienced in handling claims brought under Rome I, Rome II and the Brussels and Montreal Conventions.
He is experienced claims brought under the Package Travel Regulations and has acted for both Claimants and Defendants in this area. He has appeared in many hearings on behalf of foreign insurers involving the application of the European Community (Rights Against Insurers) Regulations 2002. Read more…
