Georgina Churchhouse to provide legal advice on COVID-19 and employment law to the Employment Legal Advice Network.

COVID-19 and the accompanying Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme have placed large question marks over the extent of employees and workers rights and employers obligations.  As such front line legal advice workers are facing an unprecedented number of enquires with minimal and depleting resources. Thanks to Shyam Popat, Head of Casework at Advocate, Georgina will provide ad hoc legal assistance to front line advice workers navigating the implications of COVID-19 for employment and discrimination law.

The Access to Justice Foundation and the London Legal Support Trust have launched an emergency appeal to fundraise for the legal advice sector so it can continue to provide free legal advice.
