The Queen has appointed Richard Harold Davison to be a Master of the Queen’s Bench Division on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Royal Courts of Justice with effect from 1 February 2016.

Richard Harold Davison, aged 56, will be known as Master Davison. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1982. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Chairman (now known as Fee-paid Judge) of the Employment Tribunals (England & Wales) in 1999, and as a Recorder in 2005.
